Man Jailed After DUI Escapade on Golf Course in Colorado

On Wednesday, police in Colorado arrested a Longmont man, who they believe drove through two fences and around the Highland Hills Golf Course while drunk.  The man, 18 year old Victor Ross Parrish, was arrested for drunk driving, hit and run and criminal mischief.

Police report that Parrish was arrested after they found him inside his parked car near the gold course a little past midnight.  Police investigators claim that Parrish drove through a fence on the golf course, through the golf course and then into another fence.  His car was found parked on Fairway Lane.

According to police spokesman, Sgt. Joe Tymkowych, Parissh's car incurred a substantial amount of, "fresh damage, which was consistent with the collisions with the fences on the golf course."  Police also report that the amount of property damage should not exceed $2,000.

Parrish was arrested and held in Weld County Jail and his bond was set at $5,000.
