Pennsylvania Man Arrested For DUI Twice In Same Day

According to the Associated Press, a man from Lancaster, Pennsylvania was arrested and charged with driving under the influence twice within a time span of six hours.  Local law enforcement are reporting that the man was first arrested at 11:00 AM yesterday.  He was stopped by police after his car struck a parked motor vehicle in Manheim Township, a region within Lancaster County.

After being arrested for DUI, the man was escorted to a local police station where he was officially charged and processed.  He was then released from police custody and picked up by his girlfriend.

A short while later, at approximately 4:00 P.M. the same man was stopped by police for suspected DUI after he made an illegal left turn in front of another motor vehicle.  He was then placed under arrest for driving under the influence.

The man, who is 50 years of age, was arraigned by a district judge after the second collision occurred.  He was then sent to Lancaster County prison.

Thankfully, no one was seriously injured during the DUI accidents.  The man, if convicted, is facing jail time, fines and other severe legal penalties.
