Chris Davis of the Tennessee Titans Charged with DUI

In Nashville, Tennessee, wider receiver for the Tennessee Titans, Chris Davis, was charged with driving under the influence on August 21st.  Davis was stopped by police while speeding in downtown Nashville early that morning.

The police officer's arrest report claims that when the officer pulled Davis over, the football player smelled of alcohol and his eyes were extremely watery.  The officer asked Davis to take a breath test and he consented.  His blood alcohol level was 0.11.  In Tennessee, the legal limit is 0.08.

Reporters have tried to contact Davis's agent, David Butz, but he could not be reached for comment.  However, the Titans sent out an email state to the press saying that the team had been made aware of the situation and was in the process of gathering facts.
