20 Year Old Arrested for Possible Vehicular Manslaughter

According to WIVB Brigid Walsh, 20, was arrested on Tuesday afternoon for possible vehicular manslaughter

The young woman was found to be driving while intoxicated when she caused a rollover accident that killed one of her passengers, a teenager, and injured two more. The Buffalo Police Accident Investigation Unit reported that she was driving on Route 33 (the Kensington Expressway) when the car flipped over around 1:30 a.m. 

The victim of this accident, Erika Hoerner, was 18 years old. She was ejected from the vehicle, causing her death. The other two passengers, both 19 years old, were taken to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries. 

This is the second time that police have been called out for a fatal car crash on Kensington Expressway in the past two weeks.
