School Bus Driver was Intoxicated

One proactive student is responsible for stopping an intoxicated school bus driver and possibly saving the lives of her fellow students.

The middle school student became worried that something was wrong with the New Jersey bus driver. She texted a message to her mother voicing her concern, prompting the mother to call the local police department. Other students joined in and texted or called their parents, who then started barraging the middle school with phone calls.

When police finally caught up with the 46-year-old female bus driver, she was at a different school, getting ready to start a new run. She was detained and arrested with DUI. At the time of arrest, her blood-alcohol level was .25, five times the legal limit for someone operating a commercial vehicle.

She was later released on $85,000 bail.

If you have recently been arrested for DUI, you should take the time to consult with a DUI lawyer immediately.
