Man Arrested for Suspicion of DUI after Fatal Accident

In the city of Ocotillo, California, a man has been arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.  However, before his arrest occurred, he struck numerous motorcycle riders and managed to kill five people and injure six others.

According to California Highway Patrol Officer DeAnn Goudie, the DUI accident took place this past Sunday.  Following the collision, 36 year old Carlos Ramirez Bobadilla of Mexico was placed under arrest by local law enforcement officers.  At this time, the results of his breath alcohol test is pending.

Based on the evidence that has been collected, it is said that Ramirez will not be held responsible for the deaths, but investigations are still in progress.
