Two School Bus Drivers Arrested for DUI

Although two bus drivers from New York have been charged with driving under the influence while taking students to Killington Ski Area, they have both plead not guilty to the charges.

The two men, Vladimir Ignatovich, 46, and Aleksey Gerasimov, 37, both from Staten Island, were released on Monday on conditions after entering a plea of not guilty. When alcohol was detected in their systems officials took Gerasimov and Ignatovich, as well as another bus driver, off the road on Saturday. All three men work for United Coach of Staten Island. Officials involved in this case stated that the two men had blood alcohol levels that exceeded the legal limit for driving a commercial vehicle.

According to the Burlington Free Press those driving commercial vehicles can be found guilty if their blood-alcohol content is above 0.04 percent or more.

Although you may regret your DUI charge now you still have a long legal road ahead of you. Don't attempt to go down this road alone when a DUI lawyer can make the process easier.
