Victim of DUI Accident Idenitified

Police have identified the victim of a three-car accident this past weekend and set a community mourning as a result.

According to police reports, a 71 year old man was driving on Assembly Street when another driver struck him. The responding officers saw that she was intoxicated and, after administering the standard field sobriety tests, was arrested on a felony DUI charge.  The defendant, who is a criminology major at the University of South Carolina, does not yet have legal counsel. In addition to her felony charge, the defendant has also been charged with sale of a fictitious license.

The victim was a pastor in Lexington County.

If you have recently been charged with felony DUI, there is no time to waste in calling a DUI attorney today. You have a long and difficult road ahead of you, but with the right legal counsel on your side, it is possible to fight and even have your charges dismissed.
