Mother with 2 Kids in Car Causes DUI Accident

A mother and her two children are lucky to have walked away with just minor scrapes after being involved in a drunk driving accident last week. The woman charged with causing the accident was arrested last week in Pleasant Hill. According to the police report, 49-year-old K.L. was attempting to make a left turn when she drove into the back of an SUV. She pulled away from the accident before checking on the passengers of the wrecked vehicle and sideswiped another vehicle in the process. She finally stopped and was detained by police.
