Ray McDonald Arrested fro Drinking and Driving

Within a period of just two weeks, two athletes from the same football team have been arrested for DUI. It is uncertain how the team will respond to this rash of arrests that has brought bad publicity to fellow teammates. According to the police report, Ray McDonald was arrested last Wednesday morning in Sunnyvale. The starting left defensive end was arrested on an outstanding warrant that was linked to an outstanding DUI arrest. That arrest took place in June 2010 when the athlete was found to be driving 94 mph in a 65 mph zone.

At that time, he pleaded no contest to the charge and was told to complete a first offender's class. While it is unknown whether he failed to complete the class or simply failed to give proof of completion, it is known that a judge ordered a warrant for his arrest for the apparent violation of his probation.
