Teen Takes to Social Media to Spread Awareness of DUI Related Tragedy

The sister of a teenage girl who lost her life in a drunk driving crash has taken her message to a social network site. She is asking for a petition to be signed regarding the bond of the man who took her sister's life. The suspect, S.G., 38, is currently being held on $1 million bond in Florida. The two girls were riding with their father in a minivan earlier this month on a Miami highway when they were struck by the suspect in his SUV. One of the sisters, 13-year-old K.C., was brought to the hospital in critical condition. She held on for several days until her extensive injuries finally took her life. The father and the second daughter were treated for minor injuries and released later that day.

After spending nearly two weeks in jail, S.G. is requesting that his bail be reduced. He is currently being held on charges of DUI manslaughter, vehicular manslaughter as well as leaving the scene of an accident. Have you been charged with a serious drunk driving offense? Now is the time to work with a DUI attorney in your state!
