Felony DUI / DWI Charges
Throughout the U.S., most driving under the influence charges are charged as misdemeanor offenses. These are crimes which are punishable by up to 12 months in county jail. Certain times, however, DUI, DWI or OUI may be charged as a felony offense (punishable by a minimum of 1 year in state prison).
