Multiple DUI / DWI Offenses
When a driver has prior driving under the influence arrests and convictions on his/her record, this will most likely result in enhanced penalties for a second, third or subsequent conviction. Fines and jail time will increase, as well as the length of his/her driver's license suspension.
In some cases, multiple DUI or DWI offenses will result in a felony DUI charge. However, specific penalties will vary depending upon the state.
