On June 29th, a woman from Tennessee was allegedly placed under arrest for driving under the influence after she consumed Coke and vanilla extract.
48 year old Kelly Moss was found slumped over her car's steering wheel by police. Her vehicle was halfway on the sidewalk and half on a driveway in front of Arlington Middle School. When police stopped to see what was going on, they said that Moss had slurred speech and also had the odor of vanilla on her breath.
Police looked inside of Moss' vehicle and found half a finished bottle of Coke and two partially empty bottles of vanilla extract, which were labeled 35% alcohol by volume.
This is the third time that Moss has been arrested for DUI. She was charged with drunk driving and also refusing to submit to a breath test.
If you were charged with drunk driving, it is important that you hire a DUI attorney that can protect your rights and best interests right away.
